  • 6 to 8 - rajali Bananas/ yellow Bananas
  • 4 tbsp - clarified Butter
  • 2 to 3 - Cloves
  • a pinch salt
  • ½ cup - Sugar
  • How to Make Kelya Cha Halwa(Bananas In Sugar):

    1. Chop the bananas into thick slices. Heat the butter in a flat bottom pan and add the cloves.
    2. Let them splutter to release their flavor.
    3. Then add the sliced bananas to the pan and stir well.
    4. Add more butter if necessary so that the sliced banana is well coated and doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
    5. Cover the pan to allow the bananas to cook.
    6. Stir occasionally.
    7. Ordinary bananas will take about 2 minutes, the rajali a little longer, to be done.
    8. Two minutes after the bananas have been sauteed add the sugar.
    9. Ordinary bananas require a little less than 1.5 cup of sugar because they are inherently sweet.
    10. Continue cooking them till the sugar dissolves and bubbles in the pan.
