Ingredients

  • 2 - big cucumbers.
  • 2 - green chillies.
  • A few springs of coriander
  • 1/2 cup - ground Peanuts
  • 2 tsp - ghee, Jeera and Asafoetida (hing) for tempering
  • Salt and Sugar to taste

How to Make Khamang Kakadi

  • Peel cucumbers and cut then into small pieces.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Drain extra water from the cucumbers.
  • Cut green chillies and coriander.
  • In a small vessel, heat ghee, then add cumin and asafoetida.
  • When the cumin starts spluttering, add green chillies and remove the vessel from heat and pour it on cucumbers.
  • Add sugar and ground peanuts to cucumbers.
  • Garnish with coriander.
