Ingredients

  • 2 - big cucumbers.
  • 2 - green chillies.
  • A few springs of coriander
  • 1/2 cup - ground Peanuts
  • 2 tsp - ghee, Jeera and Asafoetida (hing) for tempering
  • Salt and Sugar to taste
  • How to Make Khamang Kakadi:

    1. Peel cucumbers and cut then into small pieces.
    2. Add salt to taste.
    3. Drain extra water from the cucumbers.
    4. Cut green chillies and coriander.
    5. In a small vessel, heat ghee, then add cumin and asafoetida.
    6. When the cumin starts spluttering, add green chillies and remove the vessel from heat and pour it on cucumbers.
    7. Add sugar and ground peanuts to cucumbers.
    8. Garnish with coriander.
