Ingredients

  • 250 gms - potatoes, peeled cubed into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 2 sliced Onions
  • 1 large chopped Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seed
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 4 Cloves garlic, chopped finely
  • 1 inch piece ginger, chopped finely
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Khara Papeta:

    1. Heat oil and fry the onions until golden.
    2. Add cumin seed and the chopped ingredients and saute for a minute.
    3. Add potatoes and salt and saute for two minutes.
    4. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook on a low flame until potatoes are cooked
    5. Let the water dry completely
    6. Mix in the tomato and cook for 5 minutes.
    7. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
