Ingredients

  • 6 - Chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp - Garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Cumin seeds powder
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped finely
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 - small raw mangoes, peeled and grated finely
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1- tomato, chopped
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Khatta Chicken:

    1. Marinate chicken in mango paste and ginger-garlic paste for 1 hour.
    2. Heat oil.
    3. Fry onion till golden brown.
    4. Add tomatoes and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
    5. Add all the masalas.
    6. Saute for 2 minutes.
    7. Then add marinated chicken.
    8. Pour some water and cook till the chicken is tender.
    9. Garnish with chopped raw mango pieces before serving.
