How to Make Kheema Muthia

  • Mix wheat flour with 1/2 the coconut paste, salt and 1 tbsp of ghee.
  • Add enough water and bind into firm dough.
  • Shape the dough into oblong masoor, like mini sausages.
  • Combine all the powders with remaining coconut paste.
  • Heat the ghee or oil and fry onions till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till fragrant.
  • Add the coconut paste and fry well.
  • Add the minced mutton and fry till brown. Add salt and 4 cups of water.
  • When the mixture begins to boil, add the Muthias.
  • Cover and simmer gently till the mutton and Muthias are cooked (about 40 minutes).
  • Serve hot, garnished with coriander leaves.
