Ingredients

  • Keema - 1/2 Kg
  • Ginger paste - 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Cloves and Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Channa dal - 1/4 cup
  • Onions - 1 big
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • Ingredients for the gravy:
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut
  • Ginger-garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • How to Make Kheema Urundai Kozhambu:

    1. Grind kheema, green chillies, cinnamon and cloves.
    2. Mix the rest of the ingredients and make small balls.
    3. Cook the keema balls in water for 10 mins.
    4. Heat another pan, add 2 -3 tsp of oil and saute garam masala and onion.
    5. Add coconut paste, red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste.
    6. Make a thick gravy .
    7. Add the kheema balls and boil for half an hour.
