Ingredients

  • 500 g - green peas
  • 200 g - khoya (shallow-fried till golden and kept aside)
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • 2 - whole cardamom
  • 1 - whole clove
  • 1 - onion, crushed
  • Mixture A: 1 cup - curd
  • 1/2 tsp - kesar
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - cashew powder
  • 1 tsp - ginger
  • 1 tsp - garlic
  • Mixture B:1 cup - tomato puree
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1/2 cup - coriander leaves

How to Make Khoya Mutter

  • Heat oil, fry onion, cardamom, clove-and fry until they are golden brown in colour.
  • Add Mixture A and cook till the oil separates from it.
  • Add Mixture B and cook till oil separates from it.
  • Add peas and khoya along with 1cup warm water.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes, adjust the seasoning and serve hot.
