Ingredients

  • 500 g - Green peas
  • 200 g - khoya (shallow-fried till golden and kept aside)
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • 2 - whole Cardamom
  • 1 - whole Clove
  • 1 - onion, crushed
  • Mixture A: 1 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 tsp - Kesar
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - cashew powder
  • 1 tsp - Ginger
  • 1 tsp - Garlic
  • Mixture B:1 cup - Tomato puree
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup - Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Khoya Mutter:

    1. Heat oil, fry onion, cardamom, clove-and fry until they are golden brown in colour.
    2. Add Mixture A and cook till the oil separates from it.
    3. Add Mixture B and cook till oil separates from it.
    4. Add peas and khoya along with 1cup warm water.
    5. Simmer for 20 minutes, adjust the seasoning and serve hot.
