  • 1 packet - mushrooms
  • 1 cup - besan
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - dhania-jeera powder
  • 1 - medium-sized onion finely chopped
  • 5 cloves - garlic, finely chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Haldi powder - 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice (optional)
  • Coriander leaves, finely chopped

How to Make Khumb Pakoras

  • Mix all the ingredients with the besan and make a thick batter. You can add soda or baking powder as per your choice.
  • Clean mushrooms and apply a little salt (take whole mushroom if they are small and cut into four pieces if large).
  • Dip in batter and deep fry in hot oil.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and onion rings.
