Ingredients

  • Refined flour - 500 gms
  • Curd - 10 tbsp
  • Milk - 10 tbsp
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Instant Yeast - 2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Kasoori Methi - 1/2 cup
  • For the topping:
  • Khuskhus - 1 tbsp
  • Kalonji - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp

How to Make Khus-Khus Naan

  • Sift flour with salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Add the oil, kasoori methi and the yeast, mix well.
  • Warm the curd and milk together and add the sugar to this.
  • Pour this liquid on the flour mixture and prepare dough.
  • Knead well for a few minutes.
  • Keep covered in a warm place till the dough is double in volume.
  • Mix the ingredients for the topping. Knead again.
  • Take small portions and roll out in shape of naans.
  • Spread a little of the topping mixture on each naan, bake in a preheated hot oven till crisp and golden.
  • Serve hot.
