Ingredients

  • 1 - medium size cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 cup - kidney beans/rajma soaked over night and cooked till soft
  • 1 - tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder/garam masala
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion chopped
  • 2 - potatoes, peeled and chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves

How to Make Kidney Beans And Cauliflower

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute onions for a little while.
  • Add tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, spice powder/garam masala powder, cumin powder and salt and stir fry for a few minutes till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
  • Add cauliflower and kidney beans/rajma, potatoes and mix well.
  • Add 2 cups of water and simmer on low heat till the gravy thickens.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve with rice or chapattis.
