  • 1/2 kg - king fish/seer fish slices/Spanish blue mackerel
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • salt
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 2 - green mangoes, peeled and cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 2 - onions, sliced finely
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut paste
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 3 tbsp - Coriander leaves

How to Make King fish-seer fish and green mango curry

  • Cook the green mango pieces with the green chilies and a pinch of turmeric in a little water till soft.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till golden brown.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add the turmeric powder, chillies powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, coconut paste and salt and mix well.
  • Keep frying on low heat till the oil separates from the mixture.
  • Add the fish and the cooked mango pieces and a little water and cook for 5 to 6 minutes till the fish is done.
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve it hot with rice.
