Ingredients

  • 8 - Kiwis (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1 - Puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tsp - Butter
  • How to Make Kiwi Upside Down Pie:

    1. Heat the butter, and fry the sliced kiwi for a minute on both sides.
    2. Keep aside.
    3. Heat the sugar with 2 tbsp of water to make a sugar syrup.
    4. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
    5. Pour this sugar syrup into a pie pan, and place the fried kiwi slices side by side over the sugar syrup.
    6. Cover with the puff pastry sheet, press well to cover the fruits completely.
    7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
    8. Keep aside and let the pie cool.
    9. Gently invert the pie into a plate.
    10. Enjoy with whipped cream.
