How to Make Kodubale
Dry roast the desiccated coconut and grind to a fine powder.
Dry roast both the all-purpose flour and wheat flour on low flame until they turn light golden brown.
Put the flour, coconut powder, asafoetida powder, ghee, salt and chilli powder in a large bowl.
Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough.
Take a small ball from the dough and roll into a log.
Join both the ends to form a ring.
Continue the process until the dough is finished.
Heat oil for frying on medium flame.
Gently drop the rolled kodubale into the oil, and fry them in small batches until well fried.
Drain the excess oil with a paper towel and store in an air-tight box.
