Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - minced Meat
  • 2 - small potatoes, boiled and smashed
  • 4 - breads, made into crumbs
  • 1 - onion, chopped finely
  • 2 - Garlic flakes, ground
  • 2 tsp - bottle masala
  • 1/2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Oil for frying
  • Chopped coriander leaves, a few
  • Make paste of:
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 3 tbsp - grated Coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 3 - black peppers
  • 1 - Clove
  • 2 tsp - Khus Khus
  • 1 tsp - bottle masala
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • How to Make Kofta Gravy:

    1. Mix the minced meat, potatoes and half of bread crumbs well (if mixture is very soft, then add more crumbs).
    2. Add 1/4th of the above paste into the mixture.
    3. Add salt as per taste and make it into small koftas.
    4. Roll the koftas into bread crumbs and deep fry.
    5. Keep aside.
    6. Heat oil for the gravy.
    7. Fry the onions till golden brown.
    8. Add the remaining paste and the garlic and simmer for 1 minute.
    9. Add 2 tsp bottle masala.
    10. Add water to make it a gravy.
    11. When the water starts boiling, add the koftas.
    12. Put it on slow flame till the koftas are cooked and the gravy is as per your consistency.
    13. Add lemon juice.
    14. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    15. Serve hot with rice.
