Ingredients

  • 1 cup - heaped flour
  • 2 pinch soda powder
  • 3 cups - sugar
  • 3 cups - water
  • 100 g - ghee
  • ½ liter - milk
  • 6 crushed cardamom
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - rose essence
  • 2 pinch saffron

How to Make Kola Mutton Kozhambu

  • Cook the mutton with a pinch of turmeric powder and salt for 5 minutes.
  • Drain the water and grind it with ginger and green chilli.
  • Add roasted gram powder, fried onions and garam masala powder, make small balls from the mixture and keep aside.
  • For Gravy:
  • Fry ginger, garlic, garam masala powder, onions and tomatoes and grind them with coconut.
  • In a pan, add oil and cinnamon stick, then add the above ground mixture with 1 cup of water. Allow it to boil for 10 minutes.
  • Then, add the balls and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice.
