  • 1- Banana leaf (tender the leaf by heating on fire)
  • 250 g - mua maas (fish)
  • 10-15 - colocasia leaves
  • 1 - Tomato
  • a few Green chillies
  • 12-15 - Garlic Cloves (mashed)
  • 3 tbsp - Mustard oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Kolpatot diya Mua Maas aru Kosu Xaak:

    1. Wash and cut the colocasia leaves along with the stems into small pieces.
    2. Mix the fish, colocasia, tomato, garlic, chillies, 1 tbsp of mustard oil and salt.
    3. Wrap in the banana leaf and tie with a strong string.
    4. Put on a tava. Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 30-45 minutes (reverse the banana leaf wrap in between).
    5. Pour the ingredients of the wrap into a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of mustard oil and mix well.
