How to Make Kothimir chutney powder

  • Heat 1 tsp oil, fry red chillies, jeera and dhania seeds
  • Remove, grind to make course powder
  • Add remaining oil and fry coriander leaves on low heat for 2 to 3 mins till they become dry
  • Add garlic cloves, stir for few seconds
  • Combine these fried ingredients and salt, and add to the mixer (with the coarse powder already prepared) and grind for 2 mins till everything is blended well
  • Add lime juice and run mixie for few sec and remove
  • This is a semi dry chutney served with idli/dosa/upma/pongal.
