Ingredients

  • half boiled arbi (colocasia) - 1 kg
  • Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • water - 1/4 cup
  • oil - 4 tsp
  • 2 - medium sized chopped Onions
  • 4 - green chilles finelly chopped
  • ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  • turmuric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • finelly chopped coriander
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Kurkura Arbi Masala:

    1. Cut the arbi into medium sized pieces.
    2. Add some water to rice flour to make a thick paste add turmeric, salt, red chilli into it and add arbi and mix it well.
    3. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
    4. Put some oil in a frying pan.
    5. Now add ajwain into it as soon as it start splutter, add finely chopped green chillies and onions.
    6. Fry till onions turn golden brown.
    7. Add arbi in it and cook for 10 min on a medium flame with a lid on it.
    8. After 10 minutes open the lid and cook it again for 10-15 minutes.
    9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
