Ingredients

  • half boiled arbi (colocasia) - 1 kg
  • rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • water - 1/4 cup
  • oil - 4 tsp
  • 2 - medium sized chopped onions
  • 4 - green chilles finelly chopped
  • ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  • turmuric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • finelly chopped coriander
  • salt to taste

How to Make Kurkura Arbi Masala

  • Cut the arbi into medium sized pieces.
  • Add some water to rice flour to make a thick paste add turmeric, salt, red chilli into it and add arbi and mix it well.
  • Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
  • Put some oil in a frying pan.
  • Now add ajwain into it as soon as it start splutter, add finely chopped green chillies and onions.
  • Fry till onions turn golden brown.
  • Add arbi in it and cook for 10 min on a medium flame with a lid on it.
  • After 10 minutes open the lid and cook it again for 10-15 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
