  • 1 cup -bisquick powder or jamun mix
  • 1 cup -shredded cabbage or spinach
  • 1 cup -shredded onions
  • 1 cup -tomato puree
  • 2 tsp -salt
  • 2 tsp -red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp -jeera
  • 1 tsp -garam masala powder
  • 2tsp - butter
  • oil
  • fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Kwiky Koftas

  • Mix 1 cup of bisquick mix with 1 cup of shredded cabbage or spinach.
  • Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp chilli powder.
  • Add very little water to make dough.
  • Make small balls out of this mixture.
  • Deep fry these kofta-balls, keep aside.
  • For the gravy:
  • Heat a non-stick pan.
  • Add 2 tsp butter and a little oil.
  • Add jeera.
  • When jeera splutters, add shredded onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Add tomato puree and keep on stirring till the oil separates.
  • Add some water, salt and chilli powder.
  • Let it boil for 2 minutes.
  • Add garam masala.
  • When the mixture thickens, add kofta balls.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
