  • 1.5 liters milk
  • 400 gms - cream
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 tbsp - almonds, charoli and cashewnuts
  • 1/4 cup - rose water
  • 1/2 tsp - ground cardamom and nutmeg
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites

How to Make Lagan nu custard

  • Boil 1 litre milk with sugar until it becomes almost half the original quantity. Cool.
  • Beat 5 yolks and 3 egg whites.
  • Add cream, half a litre of milk and rose water and nuts to it.
  • Blend well with thickened milk.
  • Put in ground spices.
  • Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture into it.
  • Bake in a hot oven in a tray of water for half an hour or till set.
  • Cool and cut into slices.
