Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - minced Meat lamb
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 1 bunch Mint
  • 2-3 Onions
  • 1/2cup - tahina
  • 2 Lemons
  • 1 tbsp - Yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp - syrup of Pomegranate
  • 1/4 cup - of oil to bake
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pastry:
  • 3 cups - flour
  • 1/2 cup - oil
  • 1/4 cup - water
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • How to Make Laham bajine (Lamb mince):

    1. Make the pastry and leave for an hour.
    2. Cook the minced meat.
    3. Add chopped onion, parsley, mint and cook for 5 mins.
    4. Mix the tahina with yoghurt, lemon, syrup, salt and pepper.
    5. Add to the minced meat.
    6. Make square pieces of the pastry, oil the baking tin and place pastry on it.
    7. Cover the pastry with minced meat, decorate with parsley and pine nuts.
    8. Bake for half an hour.
    9. Serve decorated with mint leaves.
