Ingredients

  • 8 - sheep kidneys cut into halves or 1 beef kidney cut into bits
  • 2 - medium onions chopped
  • 2 - green chillies slit longwise
  • 1 tsp - chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp - peppercorns
  • 2 - potatoes peeled and cut into thin strips
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Lamb Kidneys and Potato Stew

  • Wash the kidneys and remove the white skin.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the kidneys along with all the other ingredients in the raw state.
  • Mix well and stir fry for a few minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of water and simmer till the kidneys and potatoes are cooked.
  • Add a tbsp of flour and thicken the stew.
  • Serve hot with Bread.
