Ingredients

  • 8 - sheep kidneys cut into halves or 1 Beef kidney cut into bits
  • 2 - medium Onions chopped
  • 2 - Green chillies slit longwise
  • 1 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - peppercorns
  • 2 - Potatoes peeled and cut into thin strips
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Lamb Kidneys and Potato Stew:

    1. Wash the kidneys and remove the white skin.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add the kidneys along with all the other ingredients in the raw state.
    3. Mix well and stir fry for a few minutes.
    4. Add 1 cup of water and simmer till the kidneys and potatoes are cooked.
    5. Add a tbsp of flour and thicken the stew.
    6. Serve hot with Bread.
