Ingredients

  • 2 cups - fresh chilled curds
  • 1/2 - piece ginger
  • 1/4 - 1/2 piece - green chilli
  • 2 pinches - black salt
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 3 - 4 pinches - cardamom powder
  • 2 drops - kewra essence (optional)
  • 1/2 cup - crushed ice

How to Make Lassi Adrak

  • Crush ginger and chilli very finely, or extract juice.
  • This is done by adding a tsp of water to the crush, then pressing out juice.
  • Pour curd in a jug.
  • Add crushed chilli and ginger.
  • Add all other ingredients.
  • Place jug in freezer till well chilled, or till required.
  • Just before serving, blend well with electric hand beater.
  • When frothy and light, pour into individual glasses.
  • Serve chilled and foamy.
