Ingredients

  • 2 cups - fresh chilled curds
  • 1/2 - piece Ginger
  • 1/4 - 1/2 piece - Green chilli
  • 2 pinches - black salt
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tbsp - Sugar
  • 3 - 4 pinches - Cardamom powder
  • 2 drops - kewra essence (optional)
  • 1/2 cup - crushed ice
  • How to Make Lassi Adrak:

    1. Crush ginger and chilli very finely, or extract juice.
    2. This is done by adding a tsp of water to the crush, then pressing out juice.
    3. Pour curd in a jug.
    4. Add crushed chilli and ginger.
    5. Add all other ingredients.
    6. Place jug in freezer till well chilled, or till required.
    7. Just before serving, blend well with electric hand beater.
    8. When frothy and light, pour into individual glasses.
    9. Serve chilled and foamy.
