  • 1 cup - Bottle Gourd pieces, grated finely
  • 2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - sweetened condensed Milk
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • Few - Pistachio nuts
  • 2 pinch - Saffron
  • How to Make Lauki ka Kheer:

    1. Take the grated bottle gourd pieces, milk and sugar together in a microwave safe bowl. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes in high (stir twice in between).
    2. After 10 minutes, those grated vegetables would have cooked well.
    3. Now add the condensed milk, saffron and cook again, for 10 minutes in high (stir twice).
    4. Now add the cardamom powder and stir, until the cardamom powder gets well mixed.
    5. Serve warm and garnish with few pistachio nuts.
