Ingredients

  • 1 - medium sized Lauki (green gourd)
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 - medium sized Onion (optional)
  • 1 - bunch of Coriander leaves
  • 3 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry
  • How to Make Lauki Ki Poori:

    1. Wash and grate the lauki and onion.
    2. Cut the green chillies and coriander into very small pieces.
    3. Mix the flour, grated lauki and onion, green chillies, coriander and all the other spices.
    4. Make stiff dough with just enough water.
    5. Keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
    6. Heat oil in a karahi and keep it on a medium flame.
    7. Make small balls from the dough and roll.
    8. Once, oil is heated enough, deep fry till they are golden in color.
