  • 2.5 cups Wheat flour
  • salt
  • thin buttermilk or water
  • How to Make Layered Roti:

    1. Knead ingredients into a soft dough.
    2. Roll out circles of 6-inch diameter and a thickness of 4 mm. Spread 1/2 tsp. ghee on top.
    3. Fold in half. And then fold into quarter.
    4. Coat with dry flour. Then roll out into to a triangle about the size of a roti.
    5. Heat a griddle (tawa) and place roti on it. Cook on both sides.
    6. Apply ghee on both sides and shallow fry till crisp. Serve hot with any desired accompaniment.
