Ingredients

  • 2 cups - cooked rice
  • 1 - onion
  • 1.5 cups - chopped mixed vegetables (beans, corn, carrot)
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Cilantro Leaves
  • Salt
  • 2 tsps - soy sauce
  • 1 tsp - chilli sauce

How to Make Leftover rice masala

  • Cut the onion in long slices.
  • Heat some oil till it's hot and add the onions.
  • Gently fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add all the vegetable, salt and fry till cooked.
  • Add the leftover rice and mix it with the vegetables.
  • Add turmeric powder, garam masala, cilantro, lemon juice, soy sauce and chilli sauce and saute well.
  • Serve hot.
