Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rice (cooked)
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 - onion (finely chopped)
  • Mint leaves
  • 2-3 - green chillies, cut into small pieces
  • 2-3 - cinnamon sticks, small
  • 2-3 - cloves
  • 1/4 tsp - garam masala
  • Chinese salt (optional)
  • Oil, small amount
  • Salt to taste
  • Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger garlic paste

How to Make Leftover Rice

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl and then scramble them over medium heat.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add jeera, cinnamon and cloves.
  • When they start spluttering, add the onions and fry them till golden brown.
  • Add ginger- garlic paste, chopped green chillies, mint leaves, and fry for some time.
  • Then, add the scrambled eggs, garam masala powder and salt.
  • Cook for about 3-4 mins.
  • Add the cooked rice and mix thoroughly with some more salt.
