  • 8 tbsps - unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup - white Sugar
  • 1 cup - fresh Lemon juice
  • 8 - large Egg yolks
  • 2 tbsps - grated Lemon peel
  • How to Make Lemon Curd in easy steps:

    1. Mix all of the ingredients, except the lemon peel, in a saucepan.
    2. Stirring well, cook over a very low heat.
    3. Do not let the mixture boil or the egg will curdle.
    4. Cook until a creamy consistency is reached.
    5. Pour into a small dessert bowl and garnish with the lemon peel.
    6. Allow to cool and then serve.
