How to Make Lemon rice with cucumber raita

  • Boil the rice, drain and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil, add asafetida, curry leaves, ginger, chillies, urad dal, channa dal and the turmeric.
  • Add the lemon juice, salt, water and simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Add the rice and mix well.
  • Finally, garnish with coriander.
  • For the raita whisk the curd well, add cucumber and pour over a tarda of curry leaves, red pepper powder, and urad dal.
