  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 3/4 cup - Water
  • 1/4 tsp - Cream of tartar (You can use same amount of Lime juice instead)
  • Salt a pinch
  • How to Make Light Corn Syrup Substitute:

    1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir often.
    2. Cover the pan with lid and simmer for about 3 minutes.
    3. Take the lid off and stir and let it simmer till you get the right consistency. Switch off the heat.
    4. Cool and pour into a container.
