Ingredients

  • 500 g - Bottle Gourd (loki)
  • 200 g - khoya
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • 2-3 - small Cardamom
  • 1 gm - sugarfree Saffron strands, soaked in Milk
  • 2 tsp - Peanuts
  • Raisins - a little
  • 1 tsp - roasted cashew
  • Virk for decoration
  • How to Make Loki and Koya Burfi:

    1. Peel and grate bottle gourd and put in a non-stick kadai with milk and cardamom.
    2. Keep stirring till the milk dries.
    3. Add sugarfree saffron strands and khoya and take off from fire.
    4. Add the dry fruits and let it set in a tray .
    5. Once set add verk and cut into desired shape and serve.
