How to Make Low Fat Paneer Kofta Curry

  • Paneer kofta:
  • Take the mashed potatoes, scrambled paneer, garam masala powder, green chillies, corn flour and salt in a bowl.
  • Fry the onions until they turn translucent.
  • Add this to the potato-paneer mixture, make medium-sized balls.
  • Heat oil in paniyaram pans, fry the koftas until the outer layer turns golden brown. Keep aside.
  • For curry:
  • Heat enough oil, fry the cumin seeds and bay leaves, add onions and garlic ginger paste and saute.
  • Add the green peas, cook for few seconds. Then add the tomato puree, garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder, sugar, and salt.
  • Cook on low flame for a few minutes.
  • Add the cream to the gravy, cook on low flame until the oil separates from the gravy. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • When serving add the koftas to the gravy and serve with chapattis, rotis, naan, or ghee rice.
