  • 2 cups - semolina
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 1 -fresh grated Coconut
  • 1.5 cups - powdered Sugar
  • 125 gm - khava
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 8 - powdered Cardamoms
  • How to Make Luscious Rava Ladoos:

    1. In a skillet, saute rava in a little ghee till it is golden brown.
    2. Add powdered cardamom.
    3. Meanwhile, in a large, heavy bottomed pan, boil sugar and water on a low flame to make a one strand syrup.
    4. While the syrup boils add the grated coconut to it.
    5. Remove from stove and add the rava and khava into it and mix.
    6. Let it soak, covered for 1/2 an hour.
    7. Shape the rava-sugar mixture into ladoos, if needed add milk to soften it.
    8. Then shape the rava into a smooth balls using palms to shape and roll.
