How to Make Lychee Badam Kheer

  • In a microwave oven, cook the almonds and chironji seeds with enough water for 1 minute on high, keep aside.
  • When it has cooled, grind the almonds, chironji seeds, and chopped lychee with enough milk to make a smooth paste.
  • Meanwhile add the saffron strands to the milk and boil it.
  • Add sugar, almond-chironji paste, and cardamom powder and cook for a few minutes.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Refrigerate it for 2 hours minimum.
  • Garnish with pistachios and serve chilled.
