How to Make Macaroni Uppuma

  • Boil the macaroni in a pot of water with salt.
  • When cooked, drain the pasta.
  • In a frying pan, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds.
  • When it splutters, add all the other tempering ingredients and temper until the dal is golden brown.
  • Now, add the chopped onions, tomatoes, potatoes, salt, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
  • Add half a glass of water, cover and cook till well done.
  • Add the boiled macaroni.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
