Ingredients

  • 500 gm - fish
  • 100 gm - onions
  • 5gm - ginger
  • 1 tsp - ginger
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 4 cloves - garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - amchur
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 30gms - ghee

How to Make Machli amritsari

  • Scale, gut and clean fish
  • Cut into pieces on the bone.
  • Grind together all the ingredients and smear it on the fish.
  • Keep aside for 2 hours.
  • Heat ghee and deep fry fish till almost done and remove.
  • Just before serving, fry fish the second time and serve immediately.
