Ingredients

  • 500 gm - fish
  • 100 gm - Onions
  • 5gm - Ginger
  • 1 tsp - Ginger
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 4 Cloves - Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - amchur
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 30gms - Ghee
  • How to Make Machli amritsari:

    1. Scale, gut and clean fish
    2. Cut into pieces on the bone.
    3. Grind together all the ingredients and smear it on the fish.
    4. Keep aside for 2 hours.
    5. Heat ghee and deep fry fish till almost done and remove.
    6. Just before serving, fry fish the second time and serve immediately.
