Ingredients

  • Maddur Vada:
  • Rava - 1 Cup
  • Cake flour - 1 Cup
  • Rice flour - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 3 Cups (Finely Chopped)
  • Green Chilli - 6
  • Coriander & Curry leaves - Finely Chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
  • Rava Kodambale:
  • Rava - 1 Cup
  • Cake Flour - 1 Cup
  • Green Chilli - as required to taste
  • Coriander - 1/2 cup chopped
  • Soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee - 4 tsp
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Maddur Vada and Rava Kodabale

  • Mix all ingredients together. Add a little water if required. Form it like a chapatti dough.
  • Take a small quantity and roll it in a rolling pin like small puries, fry till golden brown.
  • Maddur Vada is ready to eat.
  • Store in a air tight container, eat any time & Enjoy.
  • Rava Kodabale (Karnataka Fame):
  • Heat up the Ghee and mix with all ingredients together with water to form like chapati dough.
  • Take small quantity of dough, roll the dough to a little finger thick rope, join the ends to form like a circle. Deep fry in a low heat till golden brown, Kadabale is ready to eat. Store in a air tight container. It can remain unspoiled for many days.
