How to Make

  • Cut the onions into very long and thin pieces.
  • Fry suji in a large pan over medium heat until lightly golden.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Mix the chopped onions with the rice flour, maida and suji.
  • Do not add water at this time.
  • Heat the butter a little and pour it into the bowl and add the rest of the ingredients to it.
  • Mix all ingredients to form a moist, soft dough.
  • Add water only if necessary.
  • Heat the oil in a kadai.
  • Divide the dough into small portions, flatten each portion like a thin flat plate and deep fry in oil until golden and crispy.
  • Can be served alone or with coconut chutney.
