Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - Onion
  • 3 Cloves - Garlic
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 1.5 tsp - cumin
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 - Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut Milk
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 15 - peeled shrimps
  • 2 sprigs - coriander
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • How to Make Madrasi Shrimp Curry:

    1. Heat oil and saute onion.
    2. Add garlic, ginger, cumin, turmeric and chilli powder and fry for 2 minutes.
    3. Add tomatoes, coconut milk and salt and boil.
    4. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
    5. Now add the shrimp and cilantro and cook covered for 5 minutes.
    6. Add lemon juice and serve.
