How to Make Maida Burfi with Cashews

  • Sieve maida, powder cashew nuts, and mix both well.
  • Take two cups of sugar, add 3/4 cup of water, and pour in a thick-bottomed pan.
  • Lower flame and stir the syrup till it reaches a one-thread consistency.
  • Then add cashew-maida mixture to the syrup.
  • Start adding ghee little by little while stirring the mixture.
  • See that no lumps are formed.
  • When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, add the rest of the ghee and pour the mixture in a ghee-greased plate.
  • While still hot, cut into desired shapes.
