  • 1/2 cup - maize flour
  • 1.5 cup - slightly sour curd
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin crushed
  • 3-4 pinches red chilli powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Maize Flour Broth

  • Beat together all ingredients with 2 cups of water till smooth.
  • Add 1/2 cup more water if too thick.
  • Heat in a heavy vessel, stirring continuously till it starts boiling.
  • Once it boils fully, reduce to simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot with a few drops ghee on it.
