Ingredients

  • 2 cups - sour buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp - Maize flour
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin crushed
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • salt
  • How to Make Maize Flour Porridge:

    1. Mix flour and buttermilk till well blended.
    2. Heat, over high flame, stir constantly till it is boiled.
    3. Allow to simmer for 2 - 3 minutes.
    4. Dissolve chilli, cumin and salt in 1/2 cup water.
    5. Add to Boiled
    6. Stir till well mixed, simmer for 5 minutes more.
    7. Take care to stir frequently or constantly.
    8. Take off the fire when thick.
    9. Serve hot with khakhra or just as is.
