  • 250 g - Cream (malai)
  • 200 g - Sugar
  • 150 g - atta (wheat flour)
  • 400 ml - water
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom (elaichi) powder
  • 2 tbsp - dry fruits, chopped

How to Make Malai Halwa

  • Make sugar syrup with sugar and water.
  • Heat malai and let it melt.
  • Keep stirring malai for 5 minutes.
  • Now add atta a little at a time.
  • Go on stirring till it stops sticking to the sides of the pan.
  • Let it cook till it becomes a little brown.
  • Do not stop stirring.
  • Now add boiling syrup and cook till ghee separates.
  • Shift to a bowl and decorate with dry fruit and cardamom powder.
