Ingredients

  • 1 packet - Hakka noodles
  • 1 cup - Chopped vegetables like onion, beans, carrot, Cabbage
  • Chilli powder as per taste
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp - Oil
  • To grind:
  • 3 - Tomatoes
  • 3 - Garlic pods

How to Make Malaysian Veg Noodles

  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions and saute till they turn golden brown.
  • Add beans, carrot and cabbage and saute till the vegetables are half cooked (takes about 5 to 8 minutes).
  • Grind tomatoes and garlic into a fine paste.
  • Add the ground paste to the vegetables and add salt, chilli powder and continue to cook till the raw smell of tomato goes and mixture becomes thick.
  • Add in the cooked noodles (cook noodles as per the instruction on back side of the packet).
  • Mix well and serve.
