Ingredients

  • 1 large - mango
  • 50 ml (2 fl oz) - apple vinegar with honey
  • 115 g (4 oz) - Demerara sugar
  • 225 ml (8 fl oz) - water
  • 1/2 tsp - shelled cardamom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - ground cloves
  • 150 g (5 oz) - sultanas
  • 2 - cinnamon sticks

How to Make Mango Chutney

  • Peel the mango.
  • Remove the stone and cut the flesh into large chunks.
  • Place the mango chunks in a saucepan and add all the remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  • Place over high heat and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes. Let it cool.
