Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 - ripe mangoes
  • 1 cup - curds beaten
  • 2 cups - water
  • 4 - green chilli, seeded and chopped
  • 2 tbsp gram flour mixed with 4 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp - Haldi powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dry Ginger
  • Sugar and salt to taste
  • For seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp - mustard
  • a pinch of Hing
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee

How to Make Mango Juice Kadhi

  • Peel and cut mangoes. Puree and strain.
  • Beat curds with water and add to the mango pulp along with the gram flour.
  • Place pan on heat and bring to a boil slowly, stirring all the time. Remove from heat.
  • Heat Ghee in Tadka pan, add the seasoning and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add to the mango Kadhi.
  • Serve with white rice and Papad.
