Ingredients

  • Pulp of 2 medium-sized mangoes
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 2 tbsp - Sugar (approximately, depending how sweet the mangoes are)
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • Some kesar/saffron strands
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder (Optional)
  • 1 tsp - Nutmeg powder (Optional)
  • How to Make Mango Ras:

    1. To make mango pulp:
    2. First wash the mangoes. Peel off the skin and remove the pulp with the help of a knife.
    3. Use a blender to puree mango pulp.
    4. Take some lukewarm milk; add kesar, salt and sugar.
    5. Allow it to cool.
    6. After the sugar is completely dissolved, add the mango puree.
    7. You can also add cardamom and nutmeg powder optionally.
