  • Pulp of 2 medium-sized mangoes
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 2 tbsp - Sugar (approximately, depending how sweet the mangoes are)
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • Some kesar/saffron strands
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder (Optional)
  • 1 tsp - Nutmeg powder (Optional)

How to Make Mango Ras

  • To make mango pulp:
  • First wash the mangoes. Peel off the skin and remove the pulp with the help of a knife.
  • Use a blender to puree mango pulp.
  • Take some lukewarm milk; add kesar, salt and sugar.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • After the sugar is completely dissolved, add the mango puree.
  • You can also add cardamom and nutmeg powder optionally.
