Ingredients

  • 1 - large, ripe yet firm Mango
  • 1 - medium red bell pepper, diced into small pieces
  • 1 - medium Jalapeno, deseeded and diced into small pieces
  • 1 - small red onion, diced finely, about 1/4 cup- 1/2 cup depending on sharpness
  • 1-2 tbsp - lemon/lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • A little Sugar to sprinkle if your mangoes are not sweet enough
  • A few sprigs of cilantro, chopped
  • A few Mint leaves (optional)

How to Make Mango Salsa

  • Dice the mango into small pieces. Add them to a bowl.
  • De-seed the jalapeno well before chopping into small pieces.
  • Now add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl with the mangoes and jalapeno.
  • Toss well and cover it with a plastic wrap.
  • Leave in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This helps the flavour to mingle well.
  • You can optionally add few mint leaves, too.
  • Serve with any main course you desire.
