Ingredients

  • 12 - ripe Alphonso mangoes
  • 1 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • sliced nuts
  • How to Make Mango Sato:

    1. Squeeze out the thick juice from the mangoes.
    2. Mix in 1 tsp of cardamom powder and sliced nuts of your choice and put the juice in a wide plate and place it out in the sun.
    3. Next morning, pour over a fresh layer of mango juice mixed with nuts and cardamom powder.
    4. Again place in the sun.
    5. Keep adding layers for 7 days.
    6. Then continue keeping the late in the sun till the mixture turns firm.
    7. Cut into small pieces and wrap in wax paper.
    8. Store in air tight tin.
